Y.C.Maikyau, SAN, one of the leading candidates that submitted their nomination form to contest for NBA Presidency, has expressed heart felt condolences to Dr. Monday Ubani, Chairman, NBA Section on Public Interest and Development Law (SPIDEL).
The condolence letter kubwaexpress.com got while at Unuosoko Awomukwu, Ikwuano LGA Abia State, dated April 10, reads;
My Dear Brother,
I received with mixed reactions the news of the death of your father, Pa Egbedubi Nwokocha. Mixed because, while we are thankful that he lived to a ripe old age – 101 years; a very rare privilege, we are also saddened he is no longer with us on this side of eternity and will be sorely missed.
Testimonies abound of your late father’s good and exemplary life; his peace-loving nature, his integrity and his extraordinary philanthropy. It is therefore not in doubt that he left a lasting legacy – his good deeds and name – for you, his offspring, to emulate and benefit from. While you mourn, I will urge you to keep this in mind and be consoled that he lived a good and fulfilled life.
My prayers and thoughts are with you and yours, as I continue to ask the good Lord to/comfort you and help you see and celebrate his well spent life.
Pleade accept my heartfelt condolences.
Yakubu Chonoko Maikyau, SAN
Chairman, NBA Welfare Committee.
