I received with mixed reactions the news of the death of your father, Pa Egbedubi Nwokocha. Mixed because, while we are thankful that he lived to a ripe old age – 101 years; a very rare privilege, we are also saddened he is no longer with us on this side of eternity and will be sorely missed.
Testimonies abound of your late father’s good and exemplary life; his peace-loving nature, his integrity and his extraordinary philanthropy. It is therefore not in doubt that he left a lasting legacy – his good deeds and name – for you, his offspring, to emulate and benefit from. While you mourn, I will urge you to keep this in mind and be consoled that he lived a good and fulfilled life.
