The NBA 1st Vice President, John Aikpokpo-Martins, Esq and some national officers of the NBA, yesterday joined other well meaning members of the Bar, to show emotional support to NBA President, Olumide Akpata, Esq as he remembers his mother.
He made the post on his Facebook page.
Yesterday was the 30th year remembrance of his loving mother, who departed this earth.
Most NBA politicians would have stormed the occasion is a ritual in an election year but many were busy trying to submit their nomination forms in Abuja.
We join the 1st Vice President, to express our condolences to the NBA president. According to Shaka Zulu, “there no reality that the death of a mother.” 30 years may have gone but the void is forever fresh as we know that the president would have loved to give back to his mother, for all the sacrifices she made.
Mr. President Sir, words cannot fill the void but we say, take heart, she is proud of you wherever she is watching over you.
