Mr Lazarus Nyaholo, Secretary Garki Chiefdom in the FCT has revealed that Super Eagles will never win any match they play at MKO Abiola International Stadium because the Gods of the Gbagyis are not happy with the treatment meted out to the inhabitants of FCT, particularly the original inhabitants of the area where the stadium is built.
According to him, “if they like let them play 10 matches on that pitch, they will never emerge victorious because the original inhabitants that were in that location were chased out unceremoniously without compensation and they laid a curse on that land”.
He revealed this on Wednesday while speaking at a town hall meeting on Mining Community Development Agreements CDAs and Inauguration of Community Cultural Ambassadors organised by the Centre for Transparency Advocacy (CTA).
According to him, unless the Gods are appeased and the displaced indigenes compensated, the curse removed, Super Eagles will never win any match in that stadium.
