Justice Bello Kawu of FCH High Court sitting in Kubwa, has vacated the interlocutory injunction earlier granted on Nov 18, 2021, stopping the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Convention from holding.
The Judge vacated the Order relying on Supreme Court ruling that a party member does not have the right to take party to court.
With this ruling, all huddles have been cleared for APC National Convention to hold on Saturday 26 March.
The matter of Malam Salisu Umoru, challenging the powers of the Chairman Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, Gov. Mai Mala Buni and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to hold national convention, was adjourned to March 30 for hearing of the substantive suit.
